We are thrilled to announce that we have secured Doris Younane to hold an Actor’s Master Class.

Doris Younane graduated from NIDA in 1986. She has worked consistently in the industry and is well known throughout Australia. She has worked in all areas of the industry – theatre, television and film.

Doris has received a Green Room Award for her work on stage and has been nominated for her work on screen. Most recently she appeared in the film “The Combination”, Television co-production with the UK “False witness”, “Blackjack” for network Ten, “McLeod’s Daughters” for the Nine network and she is also well known for her earlier work on “Heartbreak High”.

Doris recently returned to Western Sydney following four years on McLeod’s Daughters. She is passionate about teaching young actors the skills required to enter and survive in the industry. She has mentored many young actors throughout her career.

Doris pulls no punches and tells it how it is in the industry so this class is not for the feint hearted. If you think you’ve got the stuff or want to put your talent to the test then this master class is for you.

This is your opportunity to learn from an actor who is currently working in the industry and can teach you what to expect.

This is no ordinary workshop. It is a MASTER CLASS running over a two day weekend. On Day One you will learn about finding the truth in a scene and work with current commercial, television and film scripts. Our aim is to provide you with the tools to succeed in an audition, how to solve problems and take direction in order to provide your best possible performance. On Day Two you will be asked to screen test in a professional casting environment with a director present. Your work will be viewed at the end of the day, critiqued and discussed with Doris and the guest Director.
